Combining bananas with cinnamon tea makes for a cozy and healthful snack. Here's a simple recipe to enjoy both:

Banana Snack with Cinnamon Tea

Ingredients:

For the Bananas:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

For Cinnamon Tea:

  • 1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1 black tea bag (optional, for a spiced tea blend)

Instructions:

Prepare the Bananas:

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds or halves.
  2. Arrange them on a plate and drizzle with honey or maple syrup, if desired.
  3. Sprinkle ground cinnamon evenly over the bananas. Set aside.

Make the Cinnamon Tea:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon). Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes to release the flavors.
    • If using a tea bag, add it during the last 2 minutes of simmering.
  3. Strain the tea into a cup (if using a cinnamon stick or loose tea).
  4. Sweeten with honey or sugar to taste, if desired.

Serving:

  • Enjoy the warm cinnamon tea alongside the cinnamon-sprinkled bananas.
  • For an added touch, dip the banana slices into the tea for a warm and fragrant bite.
